As a leading manufacturer of PVC tarpaulin, Unitarp owns advanced and professional equipments for PVC cloth tests of tearing strength, breaking strength, adhesion, thickness, weight, and anti-UV, anti-Mildew, etc.

Thickness Test

There are normally some standard thickness for different weight of the tarps.850gsm is about 0.7mm, 610gsm is about 0.52mm, the tolerance is ±2-3%. We can do customized thickness according to your special requests.

UV Test

Unitarp Lab provides professional UV tests up to 1500 hours which equals 5 years of outdoor UV resistance. The Commonly required standard is UV 3 Grade.

Weight Test

Our experienced production team can control the weight well per customers’ request with tolerance within ±3% even weight up to 1500gsm.

Strength Test

All our goods will be under our strength testing before shipping. For example, the 650gsm tarp for general cover, breaking strength is 2500N/5cm, 2300N/5cm tearing strength is 270N/250N, and adhesion 100N/5cm.
